Hey ^^ I'm Karen. I got into this game actually through Becky. We had a mutual friend who introduced me to it and I fell in love and out popped Ciel.
*Ciel is hiding behind her* She's back there, she's part Leccubi herself...so she'd bite ya Kurt, but she heard something about Bardiel having a *air quotes* holy object. She doesn't like em.
So I say hi and she says hi to you. ^^

A BIG hello to Karen and Ciel^^. I wouldn't worry too much about Bardiel... *Bardiel scratches the back of his head, causing golden flakes of dandruff to fall on the back of his collar* ... He's still just a little uncivilized, but at least he's no snake. He heard tell of a certain Devil-cat's pet fear. Beside "What doesn't kill you will only make you stronger" (Unless it's a spinal injury ).

'S not the slithery thing she's worrying about. It's the thing with the crucified savior on it she's a little iffy about. ^^

I guess Bardiel isn't going to win any hellish social events (it must be uncomfortable to have him and the crucifix as company). But I'm sure with proper conditioning and preparation, short conversations shouldn't be too much of a strain. At least I hope so.

A strategically placed cloth or piece of armor would be all that is necessary to conceal it. It is the holy relic itself that poses the threat when in the open anyway. The fellow demons can feel its power but if it is not in plain view it is less of a nuisance as its holy Ora would be dampened by the covering.
Regent will be sorely tempted to destroy it when he first meets Bartiel. Holy relics bring forth the beast in Regent. He fill fly into a torrent of rage bent on destroying it. Bardiel must quickly convince the dark lord that it is vital to his existence to prevent Regent from trying to dissolve it on the spot.

Quite a dilemma then, as we know, the absence of this particular holy relic brings forth the beast in Bardiel, or so to speak.
If Bardiel is lucky, Regent may take the form of something (or at least a combination of things) Bardiel has some experience dealing with. So that he might avoid Regent's rage, buying time to try to explain.
However I am worried that Bardiel's almost-lust for a challenge will get the better of him. He prefers company to conflict, but everything else places a distant third.

.... hmm... I think that Ere would be more or less indifferent- annoyed and insulted but I don't know if it would damage her...

I agree, as she is practically the physical personification of the void (or is it the other way round?). To her I imagine the crucifix is little more then offensive graffiti found tagged on her house.
