Lye hears something the Queen mentions to her to do, and trudges down the stairs, until she is near to Ilinid and says, "Y'know, you can stand now. The Queen told me to tell you." She leans in and mutters softly, "She...er...forgot." She stands again and trots off to follow Ghostie and Zarek.

As Zarek brushes her away, she falls. However, she shadows back to her Queen's side, hating to ignore Zarek, yet she feels that she must. Imploringly, she looks at Erishkegal and whispers softly to her , "Do you wish that I leave you Highness?"

*From deeply under her lashes, eyes still downcast more or less as is proper in this position, Ilinid secretely watches Pox. As though made of black liquid, he bubbles and seeps, reforming without effort. Curious and interesting. Then the silent, horrible sound and the elf's right ear twitches. Luckily, it lasts but a fast second and the globe -looks like a globe anyway- is pocketed. Souvenir? Ilinid lowers her eyes again, closing them fully a moment, finding the concentration and sheer force of will to keep from trembling from exertion. Her eyes open again when she feels a smile upon her. Pox*
*She would've answered him if he hadn't silenced himself so quickly. And she still might have again had he not bowed out and leaned against a wall, fully removing himself from her jurisdiction, as it were. Instead, she only smiles in reply and lowers her eyes, as if to nod, to give mute answer... /Yes/. To one or all his soft questions is open for interpretation*
*She, like Pox, would smile at another so cruelly wrapped in protocol as she is, knowing the pride and pain of it. Ilinid has a few minutes left in her, holding this. She idly entertains the idea of timing it later, when the Queen whispers to Lye, who trots down the stairs and leans in, offering the sweetest words the elf has heard in some time. True or not -and Lye has no reason to tell falsehood- Ilinid decides to accept this as formal dismissal despite the fact it did not come directly from the Queen. Her trembling legs dictate that right now, in this case, a special exception will be made*
*The Ambassador very tightly reigns in any outward sign of relief, merely nodding to Lye and standing as though no effort were made at all. She will not say anything to embarrass the Queen, simply bowing towards her and turning to exit the ruined chamber. She pauses in mid turn, casts a green, glowing glance towards Pox, tiniest smile on her lips -almost more of a pursing- then quietly egresses*

**Pox’s staff begins to emerge , but stops , just short of a baton. Spinning it in his left hand , then over to his right , he tucks it under his arm and lifts a hand to tip his cap. His usual long dreads grow from the tight looking bowler and bells jingle into existence as pox turns around and puts a hand on the wall. A short whisper and a light rapping of a knuckle upon the stone surface opens a hole in the wall. The passage , which must go straight down , is pitch black as pox jumps into the hole and disappears , the wall closing behind him.**
**Arriving at the throne room , Pox slinks in on all fours. Taking the shape of a red cat, he paws lightly at some dust before curling up and lazing on the ground just beside the throne. A heavy purr echoes in the vast room , the repetition , soothing , enough to lull the most alert person into a fit of weary yawns and rubbing of drowsy eyes. Pox rests, and wonders what , or who , is next to come , but mostly , how long this nap will last.** [/font]

The Queen nods wearily to Ciel, her voice is soft compared to Zarek's scolding.
"I will summon you later."

Ciel's eyes are downcast, yet she does as she is told.
As she is leaving, she curtseys to General Zarek and nods softly to everyone else.
She turns slightly before she leaves and whispers to Zarek, "Will you make sure she eats something? If only a little bit. I am worried for her."
She then walks a ways, then when far enough shadows out to the Throne Room to curl up in Erishkegal's throne and nap, awaiting her reappearance.
