"Like a stone" Thane mutters to Lysandor's comment as Thane takes the makeshift spear and he turns toward the battle. Thane takes aim ... at Zarek? He is at a loss for a moment as only Zarek is in mid air, in the rain, looking down toward the wet ground. Thane rushes to the railing and looks down to see the Angel in a defensive posture on the ground and Lye rushing to attack him. Thane looks to Lysandor as his fur is becoming wet and water begins to drip off Thane's nose. "One wet dog joke..." Thane growls looking even more perturbed "... and I will toss you." Thane scowls as he takes aim with his crude iron javelin at the grounded Angel. He becomes lost in concentration and waits for just the right moment... the spear raises in Thane's paw anticipating for Lye to make her move... The iron bar twists in his grasp as his grip tightens, waiting for the clear shot... wait for it... wait for the Angel to react to Lye... wait... wait... Thane sees the shot and he pours all his rage into the thrust. The bar lurches from his grasp as an evil growl rolls from his chest. The spear flies fast and hard in opposition to Lye's moves in attempt to strike the angel as he moves to counter her attack.

Lysandor's lips perse minutely as he considers making a joke just to get Thane to toss him . . . but the split second slides past, as he realizes that Thane would most likely toss him down, not towards the battle.
The Fallen Elite tosses his curtain rod aside, and runs back a few feet as Thane throws his own makeshift spear. Snatching up a whole curtain rod, Lysandor races towards the balcolny. He stabs the rod into the ground, using his own speed and the added momentum from the curtain rod to force himself into towards the Angel. Though blunt, the curtain rod is sure to do some damage . . . if it connects, that is.

The angel quickly stands facing the charging lye, at the very last second dodging out of her way and inedvertantly stepping out of the way of Lysanders attack as well. However, the angels sword arm is not able to get out of the way of Thanes "spear" and it bounces of his gauntlet. Although doing no damage to the angel himeself, his arm gets wrapped in the curtain on the spear. The spear jams into the ground, wrapping up and immobolizing his sword arm.

Zarek watches from the air, looking down at the battle below. "The Virgin mothers be damned, this shouldn't be this hard. Lye should be able to take on this angel. But who the Hell is he. He feels... familiar....brother." Zarek fades out for a second before coming back to the here and now. "I've got to help them, even if it is an angel." Zarek thrust hard once with his wings, then angles himself down, tucking his wings in close to help build speed. As he neers the battle and the other angel, he unfurls his wings, bringing himself in to a upright position quickly without losing too much momentum and angles his foot to kick at the angel.

Lye is able to see a quick smile come across the angels face, and a quick glance to his side shows he knows Zareks coming. Before anything can be done about it, the angels sword flares to life, the blade bursting into pure burning flames, instantly incenerating the curtain. He takes a large, single step back and, still smiling, makes a wide arc with the sword, leaving a long tail of flame behind it. He hear the sound of metal on metal as Zarek flies directly into the path of the sword. Zarek hits the ground hard and roll, coming to a croutch, and then slowly standing, and obvious black gash in his armor. Zarek leans slightly to the side of the wound, but still gets into a fighting stance. The angel still smiling, turns to face Zarek, mimicing Zareks stance.
The three of you notice that these two look quite similar. They could possibly of been brothers at one time. The angels has long hair the same length as Zareks, only brown and braided. But other than the angels perfect, shining armor, flaming sword, and stark white wings, the two from a distance look very much alike.

Lye noticed the angel turn his head away from her to face Zarek. She was struck still for a second as she realized how alike they looked. She took advantage of the opportunity, though; she knew the angel wasn't totally off-guard to her, but she had a chance. She made a stab at the angel with Silverspine but readied her leg to kick out to the lower right a split-second after, where she was sure the angel would duck away from her strike.

Thane watches from the terrace as the melee takes place. He is excited as the curtain wraps up the angel then is horrified at the flaming blade gashing the General. Without hesitation, Thane leaps from the balcony to aid his comrades. Thane hits the ground running like a black blur and circles to flank the angel. Thane knows that the sword or the angels sword arm must be neutralized before the demons can defeat this powerful foe. Thane stands a few meters away from the angel as malice slides down his arms into his flared claws. The black chain makes a few quick spins and then sails through the air like a twisted dream toward the angel. Thane gives malice a quick yank to set the hooks into the angels sword arm attempting to either sever it or snare it enough to tangle him up in the snarled chain.

Lysandor gracelessly lands on the ground, rolling to reduce impact. As soon as he stops - aided by a pillar - he leaps to his feet. Realizing that his claw/bracers would be pretty much useless against an Angel, and with so many allies, he keeps his curtain rod, brandishing it like a quarter staff, as he approaches the downed angel from the left. He waits to see if any of his comrades' attacks land before he makes his move.

"Fools, you don't know what I'm capable of." The angel smiles at the oncoming onslaught. He suddenly raises his hands to the air, and the ground around him shifts. A tremor goes through the ground, and the landscape rises up around him, creating a caccoon like shield to protect him from his opponents.

Thane curses as the stone shield erupts from the ground and cocoons the angel. The chain recoils back to the angry hound after the strike chips a few shards of stone away but is still rather ineffective against the barrier. Thane then calls out to Zarek. "I trust you have formulated a plan 'B' M'Lord." Thane growls as he stares at the stony husk. "In case you haven't M'Lord... I believe the next move to be yours, General." Thane cracks an evil grin for a moment as a plan is hatching in his twisted mind. "Since our squirmy foe has decided to do us a favor and immobilize himself for us... One well placed strike from your acidic blade... should clave this uninvited pompous braggart in two where he stands."

Zarek breaks from his reverie. "Plan B? I didn't even know I had a plan A. But I guess ending this now would be a good idea." Zarek plunges downfrom the sky, his sword held high. He strikes the top of the mound and cleaves it in two, turning the cocoon into rubble.

The Cacoon crumbles, sending up a small cloud of dust. When it clears you notice that the inside of the cacoon is empty.
"You'll have to do better than that to get me." Comes the angels voice from low and behind Thane. Hands come out of the ground behind Thane, latching onto his ankles and pulling him down into the ground, up to his torso. The angel flies out of the ground, like it was made out of air and lands softly.

As the cocoon crumbles Thane growls a triumphant, "Yeeeessssssss!" But upon the clearing of the dust and voice of the angel, Thane looks behind him to attack but no one is there. When the angel grabs him by the hocks, Thane yips from the surprise of being yanked into the earth. Thane is shocked as he realizes he is rooted in the ground like a furry daisy. "WHAT THE ..." Thane barks, growls and spits like a rabid fighting dog as he vainly tries to swipe at the angel who flies from the ground and lands a few meters away. "Come back here!" Thane snarls as he looks like his anger is about to make him explode. His eyes burn so brightly that they are almost white hot from his frustration and rage overcoming him. He looks to the earth that seizes him and prevents him from rushing his foe and starts to wage war against the very earth of hell. Thane begins to struggle against the grasp of the soil to free himself as his claws tear huge swipes out of the muddy ground like a commercial back-hoe as he digs like a hound possessed.

Lysandor utters a silent curse as the cocoon proves to be empty. He repeats his curse louder when Thane is suddenly pulled down in the earth by the Angel. He grits his teeth in frustration. It had been centuries since he had last seen what an Angel was capable of.
He decides to take the initiative and attack. Rather than trying to do any damage, Lysandor attempts a more subtle, weaker attack to catch the Angel off guard.

As Lye pulls Thane kicking and screaming out of the earth, Thane notices all the mud he collected in his giant paws. Thane nods to Lye for her aid and when the hound is free of the soil he leans forward and strains his paws together collecting a giant gob of the fresh soppy mud to form a big mudball. Thane barks to Lye "Flank him and be ready to strike!" Thane then stands like a major league pitcher as he spins a quick pitch that hurls the mudball hard and fast for the angels head in hopes that Lysandor's distraction will buy just enough time for the ball to bean the angel right betwixt the eyes to blind him and throw him off guard temporarily.

Lye complies, running to the angel's side and readying her sword. There's a part of her that strongly doubts how well this plan will work, but if they can at least back the angel into a corner somehow or distract him enough...it'd be worth a lot in this fight.

The Angel easily feints Lysandors attacks. "You will have to do much better than that, worthless-" The next words is a horrid discord, Like a thousand string instruments hitting the wrong notes all at once, bringing discomfort to those who hear it. "It injures me that you think that would work." The angel says as he raises his sword to slash back at Lysandor.
SPLAT!
The battle stops as the mudball hits the angel square on the cheeck bone, splattering mud across his perfect face. The angel stops, a look of astonishment on his face. "And now you add insult to it!" the angel roars, but with an odd smile on his face. He brings up his hand, holding it several inches from his face, palm in, and slowly pulls his hand away. The mud draws towards his hand from an unseen force, coalescing mid-air into a ball about the size of a shot put, leaving his face unmarked.
"How lucky for you, that you would at least get in one hit before I strike you all down." He brings his hand back down, the ball of mud hovering a single inch from his palm. He brings his hand down parrellel to the ground, no more than a foot from Lysandors face. The ball dries out, becoming dirt, then solid rock. Then the angel quickly brings his hand vertical between him and the ball. The ball goes out, like it was shot out of a cannon straight towards Lysanders face.

Figuring that the angel has his eyes on Lysandor, Lye strikes at him, then says, "I'm the one you want, angel! I'm Her Majesty's guardian!" Lye hopes that the angel will pursue her, as she is the least mortal of the fighters.

Thane watches as the slimy mud ball smacks the offending angel square in the puss. "BULLSEYE!" Thane growls. That was the reaction he needed for Lye to strike undetected... however Lysandor is now facing the unexpected and dangerous repercussions of the transformed mud. Thane can see that his chance to strike is now or never. As Lye strikes at the powerful foe from one side Thane charges the other flank. The hounds breath is like hot steam from a locomotive billowing forth in the rain and streaming like a wind tunnel test as the hound picks up speed on all fours. Thane jumps foreword and spring boards off his hands as the hound twirls and arcs through the air over the top of their foe. The horrid lengths of the chain slide down Thane's arms swift as a switchblade in twin lengths of 6 feet that shoot out from his core like a black cyclone... with teeth... Thane intends to strike at the angel from above and give him no time to regroup in a relentless barrage of flailing chain to keep him off balance for The General and Lysandor to attack in unison and sandwich their foe from all sides.
