Lysandor visibly winces at the dissonant language from the Angel, his hand twitching toward his ear as though to claw out the sound. His sterling glare hardens at the Angel, but he smirks as the mudball hits him square in the face.
"Didn't work?" Lysandor asks quietly. Perhaps if he can get the Angel to continue to speak, he would be distracted enough for his companions to land a hit or two.
His eyes widen in surprise as the mudball turns into a stone. He takes an involuntary step back as it flies to his face, and flings himself to one side, hoping to be able to dodge the rock. If that doesn't work, he lifts his makeshift quarter staff in hopes that it could deflect the blow away from his face to another, less damaging, part of his body.

Zarek, frozen in place has finally moved into action. He springs into action, rushing towards the angel. At the last second, he beats his wings once, and pivots towards Lysandor. He tackles Lysandor, trying to get him out of the way.

Zarek tackles Lysandor, the ball clipping Lysandor on the arm but doing no real damage, and the two of them land in a heap.
The angel, realizing how open he is to attack, quickly tries to put up a wall of stone that arched between him and lye and moved above him to block Thanes attack. The protective shield doesn't have enough time to solidify, and thanes attack breaks through. The angel quickly dives out of the way, but not before Thanes chains catch him on his left leg, ripping the greave of his leg and leaving a long, deep gash down the length of his leg.
The angel lands in front of Lysandor and Zarek on there right, matching there look of surprise. He pushes up with both arms into a sit up position. He kicks out with his uninjured right leg, twisting his torso to bring him upright and jumps back from them, now standing. Moving into a defensive posture again.

Zarek slowly raises from the ground staring at the brown haired angel.
"Your not here for the Queen are you? I know you. Your Rashiel. Rashiel, the angel of the Earth. I thought I've seen those powers before. What are you after Rashiel?"

The dark hound lands lightly facing away from the group as the chain quickly returns to its resting position wrapped around the Rachet's heavily muscled arms. Thane turns and lowers himself to all fours in an offensive posture as he snarls and growls. "So... nothing witty to say now have we?" Thane taunts the angel. The smell of fresh blood makes Thane lick his muzzle as the angry hound maneuvers himself to a strategic spot near Lye. Thane affords the General and Lysandor a glance to be sure they are still intact before moving into a two man attack formation with her. Strength in numbers and all that... His burning eyes searching the wounded angel, seeking out another weak spot and the right opportunity to strike again. Thane listens to his General speak of is knowing this uninvited invader, he watches and listens intently for Rashiel's response.

Lysandor makes a mental note to thank the General later. He picks himself from the ground, ignoring where the ball of stone hit him. It would be sore, but nothing that could really impair him. His eyes don't leave the Angel, watching for any sign that he would attack - center of balance shifting, tensing of muscles - anything.
He turns his head towards General Zarek at his revelation and part of him echoes his very question.

Rashiel Turns towards Zarek, an evil grin across his face. "I didn't think you'd remember me, commander." He says as he swiftly salutes Zarek. "I'm not here for the queen. Her life means nothing. I came here for you commander."

Upon hearing Rashiel's response Thane lunges forward in a threatening posture as he leaps between the General and Rashiel. Thane's loud roar splits the air. "OVER MY DEAD BODY!" the black hound's eyes flare from the rage he can barely hold at bay. Thane lowers his head to defend his General as drool begins to drip off his muzzle from him snarling and breathing heavily in the drizzling rain. The horrendous chain draping Thane's large frame comes to life as it circles the crazed hound like a million panicked, metallic snakes. Thane hisses through his cage of snarling teeth."You just try it fancy pants... and I'll try not to laugh as I feast on your holy bones."

Lye sidesteps over to Zarek, moving forward so that she, too, is between him and the angel. She half-turns so that she can speak more softly to Zarek. "Does this revelation change anything, General, or are we still to annihilate him?"

Zarek soflty speaks to Lye, "It means we have to destroy him all the more. Seeing as he attacked me as soon as we met I doubt he is here to recruit me back. But he's the angel of the earth, ground and soil and everything in it is at his command, and it seems to be true here too. We need to get him of the ground. I have a plan, I think." And at this Zarek leaps into the air, beating his oversized, metal wings to help him gain altitude, trying to get as high into the air as possible.

"You can't escape me that easily. I must finish what I began." Rashiel crouches down, and the ground ripples out from around his feet. The ground underneath him sinks down, like a sink hole is starting to appear under his feet. Suddenly the ripples rush back towards rashiel, and the ground swells under his feet, propelling Rashiel into the air like he had used a trampoline.
He quickly catches up with Zarek, flying past Zarek and as he does so, and kicks out his foot, catching Zarek under the chin. They both do a back flip in the air, although Rashiels is more graceful. About three quarters of the way through his turn, Rashiel beats his wings hard, flying towards Zarek and catching him around the waist, The both go tumbling towards the Palace, their fall punctuated by a slight sound of breaking glass.

As the event unfolds Thane can do nothing but watch as Rashiel and Zarek combat in the air and go crashing through the palace window. Thane looks to Lye then to Lysandor with a look that could kill. "When I get my claws in him..." Thane seethes as he grits his teeth and brandishes his muddy claws menacingly. Thane then drops to all fours and begins to shake the rain off his fur as mud and grimey water fling in every direction. Thane looks to his compatriots and growls. "He bleeds... lets spill more!" Thane says with clear agitation in his words then he quickly bounds off toward the palace.

Lysandor runs after the Rachet Elite, frowning ever-so-slightly to himself.
"I have to wonder if this Angel were sent here by someone seeking vengeance, or if he came himself," he says to Lye as he runs.

Lye jumps over some fallen rubble and runs next to Lysandor. "It's a good question...from the way he speaks, it seems that he has his own agenda either way."

Thane enters the castle by nearly knocking down the side door. The hound skitters on the smooth tile floor from his wet and muddy paws as he scrambles for the stairs. He regains his balance and he begins to leap up the side of the stairs grasping the railing and leaping higher to the next and so forth till he reaches the the floor the General and Rashiel landed in. Thane looks into the hall as he enters and stands still as a statue. His ears twitching in frenzied patterns listening for the sounds of battle. Meanwhile Thane's nose sniffs high in the air searching for their location in the labyrinth of stone and mortar.
