Name: Lysandor
Rank: Elite
Brief History:
A former Guardian extensively trained in the art of protection, Lysandor Fell for reasons not quite known during the First War. Rather than going directly to Hell, he stayed on Earth as a bodyguard-for-hire, mercenary, and generally whatever was paying. Approximately five hundred years ago, before the Second War, Lysandor went missing. He awoke after the Second War in a garbage heap in Hell, mind shattered and wings missing.
For the next five hundred years Lysandor picked up his old habits of work - bodyguard-for-hire, mercenary, etc. - as a way to pay off his debt to the Thieves Guild. Thirty years ago, Lysandor joined the Elite. After proving himself worthy, he was assigned as the Queen's personal guard.
Lysandor blames himself to the Queen's disappearance, and is committed to seeing her returned.
Basic Personality:
Stoic and extremely disciplined, Lysandor can be quite protective over those he considers friend. He can seem uncaring, humorless, and even staid, but there is quite a bit of the Angel left that he struggles to both discard and treasure. Lysandor does have a subtle, dry sense of humor that comes out at random times.
Powers/Abilities:
Strength - As with all Fallen, Lysandor is very strong, able to life up to one ton.
Endurance - Lysandor can go up to one week without food or sleep without ill effects.
Veil - At will, Lysandor can hide himself from the perceptions of others. This, of course, only works when he is lucid. Let's face it, a horribly scarred Fallen playing with buts half-naked in the gutter tends to draw attention!
Detect Lies - Lysandor can detect when someone is lying. As with veil, this only works if he is lucid.
Guardian - Lysandor has been extensively trained in the art of protection, and has a lengthy resume of bodyguarding.
Weakness(es):
Madness - Though he seems more sane than most other Fallen in Hell, Lysandor is still quite mad. He cannot control the fluctuations of his emotions - swinging between four basic moods. Lucid is his default and what most see of Lysandor. He can go manic at the drop of a hat - giggling madly, streaking, and often eating bugs. Despondent leaves him unable to do anything to care for or protect himself - closer to catatonia than despondency. Very rarely, when pushed to the edge, he can go psychotic and become enraged, attacking anything and everything that moves.
Catatonia - When despondent, Lysandor cannot care for or protect himself. If among enemies, he will not even move to protect himself if attacked.
Angelic Aura - Despite having been a Fallen for millenia, Lysandor still retains some fairly Angelic traits. He is rather fond of humans in general, and can be fairly chivalrous.
Magical Items:
Amulet - A cracked black jewel set in a bent, damaged silver setting, this amulet is on Lysandor's person at all times. It helps him maintain his control, but only just. Without it, Lysandor cannot control the fluctuations of his emotions.
Non-Magical Items:
Gauntlets - The glove is made of fine chainmail, lined with treated leather, which allows for freedom of movement. Layered plates are over the back of his hands and fingers, with the tips ending in inch-and-a-half "claws."
Armed to the Teeth - It's a safe bet that Lysandor is always armed. He usually carries two long daggers, as well as a variety of other weaponry.
Appearance:
At just half an inch over six feet, Lysandor is quite short for a race that often stands seven feet or more. He has a lean, slightly starved build that is nevertheless quite muscular - just thin. He has a warmly tanned, Mediterranean skin tone, nearly covered in various scars - from arrows to knives, whips to burns. His back is nearly overtaken by horrific, disfiguring scars from where his wings had been ripped out. He has very pale blond hair, hacked short by what looks to have been a dull knife, making it uneven. His sterling silver eyes seem to be his one unique feature, often simmering with some unnamed emotion.
Lysandor most often wears black leather pants that look almost patchwork from the repairs he's done to them. His knee-high boots are also black and look quite worn. He rarely, if ever, wears a shirt, and only dons a heavily-repaired, hip-length jacket.
Rank: Elite
