Name: Eira Jardis
Rank: Secretary and Transcriptionist for the Leccubi Council
Basic Personality:
For all that she was trained to the Leccubi way, Eira has retained her straight-forward and often blunt mannerism of the Rachet people. She finds the double-speaking and subtlety of the Leccubi to be frustrating at best, and a downright pain in her ass most other times. While this makes her something of an outcast amid the more politically-minded Leccubi, one does tend to know exactly where one stands with Eira.
She has an intense dislike of bullies, and will stand up to one even if they are bigger, stronger, and more politically powerful than herself. This often gets Eira in a lot of trouble, as the gratitude of the underdog doesn't necessarily make up for a sound beating. However, she sees it as something of her duty - being stronger than many other demons and able to heal quickly.
Her time spent with her Incubus master and later in the Palace Library has taught her the value of patience and tenacity. The two virtues combined with her inherent Pe'ri madness make her almost obsessive if she can't find immediately find a way around or through a problem. Eira will keep at a problem long after another has already deemed it impossible, sometimes to the exclusion of all else.
Brief History:
Eira was born to a music Angel mother and Rachet father in the Black Forest. She was raised with the values of her father's people, the strict and unbending adherence to the law as well as the tightly-woven social structure. Her mother did little to temper this, as she adopted the culture of the Rachets as her own. In addition, Eira was also raised on tales and stories from her mother about the distance lands outside of the Forest.
It took centuries for Eira to convince her parents to let her leave the relative safety of the Black Forest, but they eventually relented. She took off for the bustling streets of Pandemonium, eager to experience the stories of her mother firsthand. There was a price for her naivete, however, and that was enslavement.
With none close enough to protect her, Eira was picked up by a Kitsune Incubus, who turned her against her will for his own purposes.
For many years, Eira was held captive by the Incubus. He often punished her for the smallest things, seeming to enjoy having control over one such as she. Eira would try to fight back, but would invariably be beaten back down as he used his more mature powers against her. This would have gone on indefinitely had she not come to the attention of the Succubus Queen. Eira thought that she would be freed, but in reality, she only exchanged one cage for another.
Eira worked in the Palace Library, often transcribing decrepit spellbooks to preserve the knowledge. From these ancient tomes, she learned some of the intricacies of mage craft. When she had time, she would voraciously consume everything she could find on magic. After all, her physical strength had failed her against her previous Incubus master and now against the Succubus Queen. As she learned, Eira formulated a plan of escape.
When the Succubus Queen was distracted with political upheaval, Eira slipped away, hardly noticed amid all the confusion. She quietly took up residence in the City Library, where she remained undisturbed for several years.
This relative peace was not destined to last long, however, and when the Leccubi Council was erected, Eira was conscripted to transcribe the meetings, as it was determined that she had little to no affiliation with any of the members of the council.
Powers and Abilities:
Flight - Eira is quite capable of flight.
Slam - Rachet Pe'ri can body slam nearly anything and break it.
Strength - Even when she was simply a Rachet Pe'ri, Eira was stronger than her Fallen mother. Becoming a Succubus only increased her strength, allowing her to lift up to 2250 lbs.
Firespeak - As a Rachet Pe'ri, Eira has an enhanced ability to use spoken magic - especially fire-based magic.
Blend with the Crowd - As a Pe'ri, Eira can fade fade into the background of a crowd consisting of five or more individuals.
Seduction - Much like everything else, Eira is naturally attractive and sensual, and does not need to consciously use her powers of seduction to attract others.
Healing - Eira can heal very rapidly - able to mend broken bones in a matter of hours. More severe injuries can take days to heal, or more rarely, weeks to months, but unless otherwise stated, Eira will eventually heal completely.
Thrall - Eira can put a lower-level creature in a trance for a short period of time. The affected creature will experience only pleasure, no matter what Eira does to it.
Fatal Weakness(es):
Madness: Obsessive - Eira can easily become obsessive over small problems and difficulties, convinced that if she just tried hard enough she could find a way around them (or through them, she's not picky). She will worry over a problem, sometimes to the exclusion of all else - even eating or satiating her desire - until she can find a way to solve it.
Fire - Since becoming a Leccubi, Eira is no longer impervious to flames as she once was. She is just as susceptible to fire as any demon in Hell.
Sunlight - If Eira is exposed to sunlight for longer than ten minutes, she will burst into flames and die.
Wooden Stakes - A wooden stake piercing or destroying her heart will kill her.
Holy Symbols - Holy symbols will cause discomfort to Eira, and may distract her if they are exposed to one held by a true believer for a long period of time. Holy symbols held by Angels will cause moderate pain, and should she be touched by it, will be burned and scarred.
Holy Water - Holy Water acts as a corrosive acid to Eira, and in large quantities, can cause death.
Blood & Lust - Like any Leccubi, Eira needs blood and sex to survive. She must feed at least once every other day to keep herself from devolving into a mindless beast. If she is more active or uses more energy, she must feed at least once per day.
Magical Items:
Fallen Feather Quill - It is actually a pen made from the feather of a Fallen, and looks like a normal quill. The pen has been "imprinted" with the handwriting of the different Leccubi councilors, and will write in their handwriting whenever they speak.
Cloak of Many Pockets - A "gift" from Eira's Incubus master, it is made of a dark, crimson velvet. It has been imbued with the Kitune's dimensional pockets, and allows Eira to pack the cloak with various items without changing the cloaks shape or weight.
Non-magical Items:
Various and sundry papers, documents, books, etc. Also she does wear clothes.
Appearance:
Eira stands a little less than six feet, about 5'10" and has a slim, yet curved, build. Her fur is short and soft, gray at the roots and fading to a snow white at the tips. At a distance, she appears to have unnaturally pale skin. Her hair has the same fade, and is most often worn in a short, sleek style that she doesn't have to fuss with for it to look nice. When she's in the middle of something, Eira's hair often obtains a sexy, tousled look. Since becoming a Succubus, her flame-colored eyes have ceased to glow, but retain their bright color. Her feathered wings are gray on the back, with a silvery gray on the inside.
More often than not, Eira can be found in snug leggings and belted tunic, with soft boots that help quiet her step. She isn't particularly fond of making a fuss over her appearance, and dislikes wearing dresses as she finds them to inhibiting of her movements.
